As a Principal Product Manager - Technical at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of personalized, proactive, and multimodal experiences powered by Generative AI. This position is designed for a dynamic and entrepreneurial product manager who is passionate about leveraging the power of Generative AI to enhance Amazon's offerings for both businesses and customers. You will be responsible for leading technical product innovation, creating products and experiences that are utilized by millions of users. Your role will involve discovering customer requirements, innovating on their behalf, and developing experiences that elevate the standard of service provided to customers. In this high-visibility role, you will act as the voice of the customer, driving a product roadmap that focuses on building delightful and useful proactive experiences. You will advocate for customer needs throughout the design, build, and launch phases of product development. Your responsibilities will include measuring business impact by analyzing metrics and customer feedback, ensuring that the products developed meet the expectations and needs of users. Collaboration is key in this position; you will work closely with engineering and science teams to bring your vision to life, requiring a positive attitude towards continuous improvement and a strong work ethic. You will be expected to think big, creating product vision and feature proposals for proactive experiences powered by large language models (LLM) and classical machine learning (ML) models. This includes writing effective documents for executive leadership and influencing multiple teams to build cross-cutting products and customer experiences. You will dive deep into technical requirements, partner with engineering and science teams, and continuously absorb and share knowledge about the latest developments in the ML/AI space. Additionally, you will own the product lifecycle from scoping to execution, delivery, measurement, and continuous improvement for proactive products, while also mentoring and supporting other team members.
