About the position

The Principal Product Manager for Trust at Headway will lead efforts to enhance security and privacy for all customers, including therapists, patients, and payers. This role involves setting the vision and strategy for trust-related software engineering initiatives, developing customer-facing features that improve security and privacy, and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and effective data management. The position is pivotal in building trust-centered products and ensuring that Headway's platform is secure and user-friendly.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision for Trust by defining a strategy and roadmap for software engineering efforts focused on security and privacy.
  • Build customer-facing features that enhance security and privacy for users on the Headway platform.
  • Partner with Product Leaders on new product launches that involve significant data components.
  • Develop platform components and tooling that ensure Trust is a default in internal processes.
  • Protect sensitive data by collaborating with various departments to understand and meet data and privacy needs.
  • Translate customer and regulatory trust needs into clear requirements for engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing on user interface designs related to Trust features.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a product manager, with at least 2 years focused on building trust products.
  • Experience in developing technically complex and scalable solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
  • High standards for quality in user experience and product development.
  • Proven track record of leading innovative security and privacy technology implementations.
  • Strong results-driven mindset with a focus on creating impact.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the mental health or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to data privacy and security.
