About the position

The Principal Product Manager for Workday Technology at Intuit is a key role focused on leveraging technical and functional expertise in Workday to design and implement solutions that align with business needs. This position requires a blend of analytical capabilities, solution architecture skills, and process knowledge to drive successful Workday implementations and enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert on Workday capabilities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and collaborate with functional and engineering teams to design cohesive solutions.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Ensure technology implementations meet transactional, reporting, and analytical needs.
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning for optimal system performance.
  • Stay updated with Workday releases and evaluate new features for potential adoption.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience implementing and supporting Workday's suite of applications and technologies.
  • Experience as a technical lead on multiple full life-cycle implementations of Workday.
  • Experience with Workday HCM modules such as Core HR, Time & Labor, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, Absence Management, and Prism Analytics.
  • Workday certification(s) preferred, including Prism, Extend, and Integration certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of the Workday Extend platform and related technologies (Java, XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, J2EE, Javascript, Python).
  • Hands-on experience in designing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining Extend apps using IntelliJ or App Builder.
  • Deep knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, customization, integration, reporting, and testing methodologies and tools.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Workday Integration development including Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, and Custom Integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Reporting, Integration, Business Processes, and Security Frameworks.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex Workday solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • AI & ML experience in product offerings/experiences.
