About the position

The Principal, Product Manager at L3Harris is a key leadership role focused on product management within the Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment Missile Solutions Sector. This position involves leading a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) to ensure the successful delivery, quality, and cost management of production programs. The role requires close collaboration with site leadership and program management to align program needs with operational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all delivery, quality, schedule, and cost targets associated with a program's production.
• Develop and execute the Production Integrated Product Team (P-IPT) business rhythm.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet delivery commitments.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Manage financial impacts and program budgets, including EVM & Control Account Manager duties.
• Lead the Production IPT alignment for the operations site teams to successfully execute program requirements.
• Interface with site leadership, program management, and customers to ensure alignment of program needs and site plans.
• Develop recovery plans when issues arise and coordinate applicable corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant operations, program or product management experience, or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• 5+ years experience within manufacturing/production in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Active US Secret Security Clearance.
