About the position

The Principal Product Manager at Kasasa will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of bank technology products, focusing on enhancing integration capabilities with online banking and core processor platforms. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in bank tech, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering innovative products to market. The role involves close collaboration with clients, internal teams, and executive leadership to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Infuse the Patch Values into work ethic and interactions.
  • Mentor and lead a team of Product Managers, fostering professional growth.
  • Provide clear direction, establish priorities, and ensure accountability within the team.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to market adoption.
  • Define and execute product strategies and roadmaps that align with organizational objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Work closely with technology leadership to align product development with technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with clients, particularly banks and credit unions, to gather insights and tailor solutions.
  • Present product strategies and updates to executives and key stakeholders.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure product success and inform decision-making.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine product offerings and improve performance.
  • Indirectly manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in the bank tech space, specifically with online banking and core system integrations.
  • Demonstrated success in taking products from concept to full market availability.
  • Experience working directly with banks and credit unions is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and their unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in establishing and tracking KPIs to measure and drive product success.
  • Experience leading and mentoring Product Managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with executives and organizational leaders.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
