About the position

The Product Manager at Ochsner Health is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle of a portfolio of digital and telemedicine products. This role involves conducting market research, leading decision-making processes, and fostering a culture of innovation to address customer needs. The Product Manager will develop business plans, create product roadmaps, and present complex data to senior leadership, ensuring that the products align with the organization's mission and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product prioritization and detailed product definition for digital and telemedicine products.
  • Invent channels with customers, stakeholders, and partners to identify problem areas that technology can solve.
  • Create and maintain the product roadmap for multiple products, ensuring it remains current with inputs from various stakeholders.
  • Present complex data to tell the product story to senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify barriers to product scale and write business cases for further investment in the product.
  • Make feature-level decisions and influence core product decisions with leadership.
  • Remain knowledgeable on current laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technical, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 6 years of product management or relevant experience required.
  • Experience leading the product lifecycle for 2-3 large products from visioning through launch and measurement required.
  • Understanding of domain and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to challenges.
  • Time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
