About the position

The Principal Product Manager at Walmart Advanced Systems and Robotics will play a crucial role in transforming Walmart's automation capabilities to enhance customer experiences for in-store pickup of online orders. This position involves leading the development of product strategies and roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and overseeing the product development lifecycle to ensure the successful implementation of innovative robotic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Product Roadmap and Vision in collaboration with the team.
  • Draft business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, and ROI assessments.
  • Align teams on product roadmap by working closely with technical development, operations, and business teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day product processes including discovery, prioritization, and product launch.
  • Set feature-level success criteria in Agile environments and validate completed work with customers.
  • Assess customer needs, market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI perspective.
  • Analyze product requirements and create programs for successful achievement.
  • Evaluate new product ideas and strategize effective go-to-market plans.

Requirements

  • Strong background in technical product management.
  • Creative problem-solver with exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to drive decision-making across large stakeholder groups using data.
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • Highly effective at managing cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in ROI analysis, market analysis, and costing.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area with 9 years' experience in product management, or a Master's degree with 8 years' experience.
