About the position

The Principal Product Manager at OneTrust is responsible for driving responsible AI product innovation, overseeing the development of new technologies to address potential risks associated with emerging AI. This role involves prioritizing key initiatives, measuring customer values, and leading teams to deliver benefits to customers and the business. The position requires a strategic thinker who can connect customer use cases to solutions and ensure ethical and compliant development of AI products.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize key themes and initiatives over timeframes
  • Measure customer values, competitive position, and business results
  • Lead team with clear purpose, driving ownership and empowerment to deliver benefits to customers and the business
  • Identify new products and features to govern and advance enterprise use of AI
  • Contribute to product and engineering strategy across teams
  • Define OKRs for product and engineering
  • Ensure product is easy to sell
  • Research and communicate market drivers including new/emerging markets and uses of AI
  • Partner closely with engineers and data scientists to build solutions for governing models, APIs, services, and complex systems at scale
  • Own due diligence build/buy/partner decisions
  • Monitor existing product metrics and build new metrics for teams
  • Contribute to process improvements
  • Monitor patents and ensure intellectual property is protected across teams

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Demonstrable track record in successfully bringing AI/ML features to market in a SaaS environment
  • Working knowledge of data and analytics ecosystems on leading public cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS
  • Direct experience implementing and managing data solutions on cloud data platforms, specifically Databricks and Snowflake
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical or business field
  • Strong knowledge of platform and integrations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of experience in machine learning and/or AI
  • Demonstrable experience and expertise developing products delivering guidance to educate users and tooling to execute on associated best practices preferably in the context of privacy, security, and compliance
