The adoption of these changes is critical to our success. That's where you come in. As Principal Program Manager for Business Change, reporting to the Strategy & Transformation office aligned to the New York Electric business, you will play a senior and critical role in preparing the organization for change. It will be essential to build deep connections into the NY business, being seen as a trusted advisor able to align and proactively respond and flex in support of business priorities. This position assumes the ability to work very much independently in a consulting capacity, to scope out opportunities for engagement, thinking strategically as to how to best partner, flexing as priorities and leadership asks shift and executing high quality output at pace.

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior stakeholders across the NY business to help them adapt to new ways of working and embrace transformational goals.
  • Deliver change of various sizes as a single change resource, pulling on resources across the business and through effective networks and stakeholder management.
  • Partner with internal and external experts to design, develop and implement targeted communications campaigns around central themes related to our transformation.
  • Consult, upskill, coach leadership across the enterprise as they develop and deliver their own change initiatives and lead their teams through change.
  • Manage advocacy at the executive and stakeholder levels to develop buy-in for change.
  • Support the impacted businesses with information and detailed frameworks, where appropriate, to ensure that they can conduct the necessary activities to minimize organizational risks.
  • Contribute to defining and maintaining the NG change methodology and standard templates.
  • Partner with change practitioners across the organization to share best practices and lessons learned to develop a standardized change delivery approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree & 4+ years change management experience, preferably across both technology/process driven change as well as wider enterprise level change associated with behaviors, cultures, mindsets.
  • Project/Program Management and Change Management certifications highly desirable.
  • Track record of having deployed creative and innovative engagement solutions and being seen as an expert communicator both verbal and written.
  • High levels of business acumen and strategic thinking, able to spot, translate and develop emerging priorities into action with a solid performance driven background.
  • Self-Starter - heavily self-motivated and performance orientated and ability to not just make sense of but thrive in ambiguity.
  • Strong performance orientation and metrics driven mindset.
  • Sound knowledge of the NY Business, with ideally a deeper appreciation of the Electric business.
  • Strong facilitator likes presenting for small and large groups; in-person and virtual.
  • Emotionally intelligent and self-aware - able to easily build rapport and flex style to suit different stakeholders.
  • Excellent MS PowerPoint skills and ability to tell compelling stories through PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on multiple projects in parallel.
  • Strong team player - built on trust and respect - sees the value of the sum of the team and can flex in and out to support.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $162,000 - $190,000
