About the position

The Principal Program Manager for Core Selling Partner Experience at Amazon is responsible for leading the vendor experience measurement program. This role involves designing and implementing analytical infrastructure to measure and report on vendor experience quality, driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure that experiences meet defined standards. The position requires strong communication skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to work with senior leadership to improve vendor experiences across various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to set strategy, define priorities, and make high-judgment trade-offs between deep dive and speed-to-action.
  • Drive roadmap, prioritization, and metric ownership, including definitions, segmentation, and instrumentation decisions.
  • Engage with vendor experience owners to identify top inspection and improvement opportunities and prioritize key initiatives.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risks and escalations, balancing business needs with technical constraints.
  • Create communication mechanisms for collaboration across Director, VP, and SVP organizations.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 7+ years of experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with controllership and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional skills in diving deep into core pain points experienced by vendors.
