About the position

Join Amazon's Global Logistics team as a Principal Program Manager, where you will drive major new logistics product launches for both import and domestic transportation businesses. This high-impact role involves leading cross-functional teams to implement strategic growth initiatives, ensuring the successful expansion of our freight forwarder product and key service areas. You will collaborate with diverse teams and senior leadership to deliver innovative solutions that enhance Amazon's transportation network.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute complex project plans for major growth initiatives
• Lead cross-functional workstreams, including finance, legal, operations, and marketing
• Create and implement Go-To-Market strategies for new product launches
• Manage stakeholder communications and provide regular updates to VP-level leadership
• Identify and mitigate risks across multiple interdependent workstreams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing
• 7+ years of program or project management experience
• 7+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• Proficiency in data analysis and using metrics to drive decision-making
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• PMP certification
• 5+ years of experience working in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
• Experience with global logistics operations and international trade regulations
• Knowledge of Amazon's logistics network and e-commerce operations
• Proven ability to launch new products or services in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
