This PMO (Project Management Organization) position is an integral role to deliver effective and efficient business improvement projects. The position will be focused on high level strategic projects and initiatives with a clearly defined and completed ROI. These projects are across different functions within the business (including but not limited to, DT, Sales, Distribution, Sourcing, and Manufacturing).
This position will provide visibility, guidance, support, and influence across projects to maximize business benefits through efficient resource utilization, uncovering and mitigating barriers, issues, and constraints.
This position will closely work with and influence leaders and teams across multiple functions. The use of skilled analysis and judgment with a strong desire to exceed expectations in every way is paramount to position success.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Essential Responsibilities:
Program Management
Develop the Program Management Organization to support the portfolio of projects utilizing Visualization methods and Obeya concepts.
Function as a program manager responsible for the successful execution of all projects.
Work across all areas of the business (including Sourcing, Manufacturing, Distribution, Order Service, etc) involved in the projects.
Develop and lead Obeya reviews with leadership where the projects are effectively communicating status, progress, challenges, risks, escalation, and andons through discussion and visualization.
Assist in scoping exercises for upcoming new projects, as needed.
Benefits
Ensure projects have line of sight to reach benefit goals. Provide tracking and projections across all projects to ensure the total yield is known forward looking on a quarterly or monthly basis. Provide visualization of current and future actuals versus plan. Determine gaps to plans and drive mitigation efforts to close potential gaps.
Risk
Identify, elevate and/or mitigate program risk items which could impact program delivery. Create visualizations to uncover and highlight risks to the projects across the portfolio. Develop a process for teams to create andons and escalation, so help can be provided to the team from the proper resources in a timely manner. Manage all andons and escalation through resolution, tracking cycle time, and improving resolution speed and quality. Lead teams to root cause & develop corrective actions for improvements.
Resources and Budget
Ensure roles and responsibilities (RACI models) are clear and resources are available in the needed amounts and durations to support the projects. Create visualizations to highlight where resources constraints are visible across the entire portfolio. Influence leadership to prioritize the efforts of limited resources to maximize business benefit.
Drive teams across the portfolio to stay within budget (I&E) and gain economies of scale across the portfolio to reduce the individual project cost.
Change Acceleration
Assemble the business change picture across the entire portfolio. Determine the change acceleration activities needed to ensure the success of the overall portfolio. Engage leadership and project teams to execute the business and culture changes that is needed to support projects success.
Coordination/Support/Standardization/Learning
Lead and coach the project teams to ensure the best and most effective PMO activities are being followed.
Mentor teams to increase PMO acumen across the teams executing programs within the portfolio.
Develop standard operation PMO procedures that are “lightweight”, effective, and not bureaucratic.
Pursue continuous learning opportunities to improve self's Program Management skillset.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree
Proven ability to build strong relationships, develop trust and establish rapport with cross functional groups
Demonstrated ability to think clearly to gather, define, and translate program, project, and team activities and action.
Excellent knowledge of PMO, Lean, analytical and process simplification skills and tools
Exceptional ability to see across many activities and clearly communicate overall situations, issues, and needed actions.
Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams effectively
Demonstrated ability to prioritize conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment with the composure to satisfy multiple agendas
Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage multiple projects in parallel.
Advanced computer skills - high proficiency in Microsoft products and ability to grasp new systems quickly.
Self-starting leader with project leadership experience with excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management and analytical/problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to scope and analyze cross-functional problems to generate/implement solutions.
