About the position

The Principal Program Manager at Sparq is a strategic leadership role focused on driving key initiatives and ensuring the efficient operation of business initiatives. This position collaborates closely with the VP of Digital Technology, providing insights and analysis to support strategic discussions and decision-making. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, project management, and the development of strategic frameworks to enhance business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the rhythm of the business and lead various aspects including providing insights and analysis for strategic discussions.
  • Act as a thought partner to the VP of Digital Technology on key strategic initiatives and support special projects.
  • Maintain and monitor a business health scorecard on key delivery performance metrics.
  • Run weekly calls with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders to track progress and resolve risks.
  • Provide decision-making support through analysis and recommendations.
  • Evaluate market trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for executive meetings and leadership offsites.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in business operations, management consulting, investment banking, or a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong executive presence and strategic maturity.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with robust business acumen and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
  • Adaptable with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
