The Principal, Program Management role at Amazon's NA Stores Negotiations Team is designed for a creative and analytical leader who will spearhead critical business initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience and negotiation strategies. This position involves developing and executing strategies for multiple concurrent initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering executive-level communications on project progress and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformative projects that optimize convenience for customers and improve negotiation opportunities with vendors.
• Reinvent processes for bringing new promotional opportunities to vendors, ensuring efficiency.
• Own initiatives to optimize product assortment and eliminate inefficiencies, enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory sourcing and placement for faster product delivery.
• Innovate and propose new ideas to disrupt existing negotiation strategies and enhance overall negotiation efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• 7+ years of program or project management experience.
• 7+ years of experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
• Experience in defining program requirements and using data and metrics for improvements.
