This role is a hybrid position requiring two days in the office per week in the Bay Area, focusing on Quality Assurance (QA) leadership and automation strategies. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for driving best practices in software quality assurance, enabling developers to build with quality, and challenging the status quo. You will develop comprehensive SQA test plans, prepare test cases, and establish test objectives and strategies. Your role will involve translating customer requirements into effective test strategies and ensuring that all test scenarios are covered, including functionality, performance, security, integration, data migration, and accessibility. You will execute test cases to identify errors and defects across the product, drive the creation of automation scripts for repetitive tasks in CI/CD, and collaborate with software developers to resolve coding errors and enhance testing processes. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will build relationships with key stakeholders to identify business needs and implement solutions. You will mentor mid and junior QA automation engineers, collaborate with the QA organization for continuous improvement, and work closely with development teams to ensure project success. This position requires a strong background in web automation frameworks, software testing, and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
