About the position

The Principal QA Engineer at ADP plays a crucial role in ensuring the usability of cloud-based Human Resource solutions by collaborating with development teams to design and execute product testing. This position emphasizes the importance of client needs and transformation, advocating for necessary changes to enhance user experience, and mentoring junior QA professionals. The role requires flexibility and creativity in an agile environment, focusing on delivering high-quality software applications.

Responsibilities

• Work with the development team to gather details on features for product testing.
• Build and execute product testing for cloud-based HR solutions to determine customer usability before deployment.
• Create complex test scenarios using Protractor/Selenium/Javascript/Cucumber test automation framework.
• Advocate for necessary changes to improve the end-user experience of payroll products.
• Train and mentor junior-level QA professionals.
• Own the releases with product features, building out plans, dividing tasks, and solving problems.
• Communicate and collaborate with technical developers and multiple stakeholders for product improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Database experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, SQL.
• Experience in an Agile environment testing iOS and Android native apps.
• Familiarity with Protractor, Selenium, or Cucumber.
• Development experience with JavaScript, Typescript, Java, Python, Ruby, or C++.

• Experience with HCM or payroll products.
• Leadership and persuasion skills to implement necessary fixes.
