About the position

The Principal QA Engineer at ADP is responsible for collaborating with the development team to design and execute product testing for cloud-based Human Resource solutions. This role is crucial for ensuring the usability of products before deployment, advocating for necessary changes to enhance the end-user experience, and mentoring junior QA professionals. The position requires flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving within an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with the development team to gather details on features for product testing.
• Build and execute product testing for cloud-based Human Resource solutions.
• Create complex test scenarios using Protractor/Selenium/Javascript/Cucumber test automation framework.
• Advocate for necessary changes to improve end-user experience of payroll products.
• Train and mentor junior-level QA professionals.
• Own the releases with product features and build out testing plans.
• Divide tasks among the team and identify problems to solve them.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Database experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, SQL.
• Experience in an Agile environment testing iOS and Android native apps.
• Familiarity with Protractor, Selenium, or Cucumber.
• Development experience with JavaScript, Typescript, Java, Python, Ruby, C+.
