About the position

The Principal QA Engineer at ADP is responsible for collaborating with development teams to design and execute product testing for cloud-based Human Resource solutions. This role is crucial for ensuring the usability of products before deployment, advocating for necessary changes to enhance user experience, and mentoring junior QA professionals. The position requires flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving within an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with the development team to gather details on features for product testing.
• Build and execute product testing for cloud-based HR solutions to determine customer usability before deployment.
• Create complex test scenarios using Protractor/Selenium/Javascript/Cucumber test automation framework.
• Advocate for necessary changes to improve end-user experience of payroll products.
• Train and mentor junior-level QA professionals.
• Own the releases with product features and build out plans, dividing tasks among the team.
• Identify and solve problems that arise during testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Database experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, SQL.
• Experience in an Agile environment testing iOS and Android native apps.
• Familiarity with Protractor, Selenium, or Cucumber.

Nice-to-haves

• Development experience with JavaScript, Typescript, Java, Python, Ruby, C++.
