About the position

The Principal Regional Field Educator for Cardiac Ablation Solutions at Medtronic is responsible for implementing and executing educational programs for sales representatives and clinical specialists. This role focuses on driving the adoption of electrophysiology products and procedures, enhancing regional performance, and serving as a technical resource for customers and field teams. The educator will lead training initiatives, collaborate with sales leadership, and provide expertise in clinical evidence interpretation and product education.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute educational programs for new and tenured sales representatives and clinical specialists.
  • Drive regional education and training activities for CAS procedures and products.
  • Deliver new product and procedural field training to ensure effective communication of technical and clinical evidence.
  • Execute engaging field education programs that support electrophysiology knowledge and skills.
  • Understand competitive technologies and craft messaging to highlight Medtronic's advantages.
  • Enhance relationships with stakeholders through strategic education initiatives.
  • Collaborate on new product training initiatives and provide technical expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Build and maintain high trust relationships with key customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 7 years of experience in electrophysiology or sales/service/engineering in the Cardiac Ablation industry.
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or Nursing with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in marketing new technologies and therapies.
  • Thorough working knowledge of cardiac medical terminology and the medical device industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills and proven ability to build positive relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience teaching and educating medical personnel and technical support personnel.
  • Expertise with Microsoft tools and other business applications (e.g., SalesForce).
  • IBHRE/RCES certification (preferred at Sr and Prin levels).
  • Practical knowledge of project/program management practices.
