About the position

The Principal Reliability Advisor/Manager of Asset Reliability at ADM is a permanent, full-time role focused on enhancing asset performance and reliability across multiple business units. This position involves developing maintenance strategies, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with various teams to implement an enterprise-wide reliability program. The ideal candidate will possess strong engineering and data analysis skills, with a passion for safety and a proven track record in reliability best practices within large processing operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in asset performance related to unscheduled losses.
• Develop and refine maintenance strategies to eliminate defects and improve asset performance.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to enhance preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Lead root cause analysis efforts on critical equipment failures.
• Measure and monitor Key Performance Indicators to track reliability performance across business units.
• Support the development of zero-based budgets based on asset condition and performance.
• Provide mentoring and training to site and regional teams on reliability best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Industrial).
• 8+ years of progressive experience in the reliability field, with at least 3 years in a corporate role.
• Strong knowledge of reliability principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, RCFA, RCM, PMO).
• Subject Matter Expert in Life Data Analysis and statistical tools for equipment assessment.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and train reliability professionals.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
