The Principal Robotics Systems Engineer will lead efforts in product safety and compliance within a leading robotics company. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety protocols for advanced robotic systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Lead cross-functional teams through safety design reviews and compliance processes.
• Conduct product safety analysis using tools like HARA, DFMEA, and FMEA.
• Perform hands-on safety assessments and maintain compliance documentation.
• Drive safety initiatives across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on product safety and compliance.
• Extensive experience with HARA, DFMEA, and FMEA.
• Proficiency with JAMA for safety tracking and compliance.
• Strong experience in robotics safety standards and regulations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience leading system-level safety assessments for complex products, especially in robotics.
• Familiarity with global safety and certification processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
