About the position

As the Principal Salesforce Architect at Axonius, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business transformation and optimization of our enterprise systems to support our Go-To-Market strategy. This position is supported by the Director of GTM Enterprise Systems and involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Product. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless integration and utilization of systems that enhance our ability to scale, improve operational efficiency, and maximize revenue opportunities. You will be expected to take the lead in solving diverse organizational problems and using your influence to enhance both your team and the company as a whole. In this role, you will transform business needs into actionable requirements and functionality, rationalizing the current state with a more scalable future state. You will structure and support advanced Product Catalog, Pricing models, and Quote Infrastructure within a Salesforce environment. Your responsibilities will also include devising, revising, and maintaining both declarative (flows, validation rules, approvals, etc.) and programmatic functionality. You will design data models, user interfaces, business logic, and security for custom applications, while scoping the level of effort and potential options for delivering technology transformation efforts. Additionally, you will be involved in data cleansing and manipulation using various tools and scripts, ensuring Salesforce security and scalability, and fostering a risk-aware culture within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Transform business needs into actionable requirements and functionality, rationalizing current state with more scalable future state.
  • Structure and support advanced Product Catalog, Pricing models, and Quote Infrastructure in a Salesforce environment.
  • Devise, revise and maintain both declarative (flows, validation rules, approvals, etc.) and programmatic functionality.
  • Design data models, user interfaces, business logic and security for custom applications.
  • Scope level of effort and potential options for delivery of technology transformation efforts.
  • Perform data cleansing and data manipulations using various tools and scripts.
  • Ensure Salesforce security and scalability, creating a risk-aware culture on the team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience as a Technical Architect or similar role and equivalent experience.
  • Extensive quoting & CPQ experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale system implementations and driving technology transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrable understanding of technology architecture, APIs, complex data structures and integration standards.
  • Good understanding/proficiency with TDD, BDD and other agile development practices.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce, marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), and other enterprise systems commonly used in B2B environments.
  • Experience working with Salesforce infrastructure (e.g. Apex, LWC, Visualforce), common coding languages (e.g. HTML/CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript) and iPaas architectures (e.g. Workato, Mulesoft).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate teams towards common goals without authority.
