About the position

As a Principal SAP EAM Consultant at Infosys, you will play a crucial role in the consulting team, responsible for defining problem statements, evaluating solution options, and making recommendations. Your responsibilities will include planning configuration activities, conducting product demonstrations, and assisting in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design. You will also prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budgets and organizational financial guidelines, while supporting knowledge transfer to provide valuable consulting solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients.

Responsibilities

• Discover and define problem statements for clients.
• Evaluate solution options and make recommendations.
• Plan configuration activities and configure products as per design.
• Conduct conference room pilots and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design.
• Conduct solution/product demonstrations and POC workshops.
• Prepare effort estimates that align with customer budgetary requirements.
• Support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 11 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance/Enterprise Asset Management implementation and support programs.
• Experience across Electricity, Gas, or Water Utilities industries in North America.
• In-depth knowledge of Master Data and Notification Management in SAP PM.
• Experience in SAP PM integration with third-party tools.
• Experience in at least 1 end-to-end lifecycle implementation including requirement gathering, business process design, SAP configuration, functional design, systems and integration testing, and resolving production issues.
• Strong client-facing experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinate work delivery.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAP Asset Performance Management or SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management.
