About the position
As a Principal SAP EAM Consultant at Infosys, you will play a crucial role in the consulting team, responsible for defining problem statements, evaluating solution options, and making recommendations. Your responsibilities will include planning configuration activities, conducting product demonstrations, and assisting in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design. You will also support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions that help clients adapt to the evolving global landscape.
Responsibilities
- Define problem statements and evaluate solution options for clients.
- Plan and configure SAP EAM solutions according to design specifications.
- Conduct conference room pilots and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design.
- Prepare effort estimates that align with customer budgetary requirements and organizational financial guidelines.
- Conduct solution/product demonstrations and POC workshops.
- Support knowledge transfer to ensure clients can effectively utilize the solutions provided.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
- At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Experience in SAP Plant Maintenance/Enterprise Asset Management implementation and support programs.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel data analysis capabilities.
- Experience in project portfolio management and project management.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the Electricity, Gas, or Water Utilities industries in North America.
- In-depth knowledge of Master Data management and Notification Management in SAP PM.
- Experience with SAP PM integration with third-party tools.
- Strong client-facing experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.
