About the position
The Principal ServiceNow Engineer will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation initiatives within ServiceNow at a leading financial institution. This position involves analyzing, designing, testing, and developing high-quality software solutions while ensuring adherence to standards and minimizing customer impact. The role requires collaboration across teams and a strong understanding of agile and DevOps principles.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain a ServiceNow IRM instance
- Establish and enforce governance and best practices for platform management
- Ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Participate in technical design discussions and evaluate new capabilities
- Represent the IRM instance in discussions with other ServiceNow teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5-6 years of relevant experience
Nice-to-haves
- ServiceNow Administration (CSA) Fundamentals Certification
- Experience across related ServiceNow Products ITAM (CMDB, APM, SAM, HAM), SecOps, & Vulnerability Management
- Knowledge of Knowledge Bases and service portals
- Familiarity with Proof of Concepts and blueprints
- Experience with Agile methodologies and ServiceNow Connect (Kafka)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
