About the position

The Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role at Apollo Solutions involves leading complex projects and driving a DevOps culture within a Series E SaaS organization. This position is focused on achieving high-performance software systems through automation and innovative engineering practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mentoring junior team members and ensuring the scalability and reliability of the software environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex projects across the company including their greenfield Chaos engineering process.
• Play a key role in driving the DevOps culture and be an advocate for automation, blameless postmortems and high performing production improvements.
• Lead a team to design, build and scale a high availability, low latency software environment.
• Hire, train and mentor junior members of the team on best practice.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience working in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Experience programming in one or more languages (Java, Scala, Golang, Python, Rust).
• Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with one or more of the following tools: Terraform, CloudFormation.
