About the position

As a Principal Software Architect at EOS Worldwide, you will guide and support the development team in enhancing the EOS One platform. This role emphasizes architectural direction and mentorship, focusing on scalable and robust technical solutions while adapting to evolving business needs. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure best practices in software design and agile processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on architectural guidance for backend and API solutions for the EOS One platform.
• Act as a technical leader and mentor in agile processes, ensuring alignment with agile principles.
• Advocate for best practices in software design, including relevant design patterns.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and QA teams to enhance user experience and meet functional requirements.
• Support the team in identifying and addressing technical debt and enablers.
• Foster an environment of learning and knowledge sharing regarding architectural insights and technical challenges.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in C# and .NET Framework with a proven track record of building scalable web applications and APIs.
• Expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, focusing on high-availability applications.
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns such as CQRS, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in guiding and mentoring software engineers.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience designing and migrating to microservice architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Background in designing data-intensive applications with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with distributed system design principles.
