About the position

Oracle's IGIU cloud engineering team is seeking a talented engineer to develop internal tools for AI and Machine Learning. The role involves solving complex technical problems, focusing on production operations, service assurance, and automation, while collaborating with various internal teams and external customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal tools for AI and Machine Learning.
• Solve complex technical problems across software and systems.
• Excel in production operations and service assurance.
• Automate solutions based on operational patterns and issues.
• Mentor team members and improve architecture standards and practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible, SaltStack, and Selenium.
• Experience in running IaaS and PaaS workloads using REST APIs and CLIs.
• Experience managing software deployed in containers like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong coding skills in shell, Python, and/or Java.
• Experience with monitoring and logging frameworks like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Ability to debug and resolve performance and scalability issues.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with deep learning and/or GenAI.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark.
• Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL.
