Oracle's Application Development Platform team is at the forefront of creating cutting-edge technology that empowers both Oracle's applications and customers to build next-generation, intelligent, and feature-rich application extensions. This platform encompasses Visual Builder Studio, Oracle JET, and a suite of services designed for search and business objects. Visual Builder Studio serves as the framework for applications on both web and mobile platforms, while Oracle JET is a collection of open-source JavaScript libraries, complemented by Oracle-contributed libraries, aimed at simplifying and enhancing the development of applications that interact with Oracle products and services, particularly those in the Oracle Cloud ecosystem. We are seeking a principal developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing new features that enhance our platform. You will also assist other technical employees, including those in Quality Assurance, Documentation, and Marketing, ensuring that all aspects of our technology are well-supported. Additionally, you will provide technical assistance to our customers, helping them leverage our platform effectively. As a member of the software engineering division, you will play an active role in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures. Your responsibilities will include defining and developing software for tasks associated with the development, design, and debugging of software applications or operating systems. This position requires a strong foundation in software development, with a preference for candidates who have more than seven years of experience in the field. You will need to possess strong problem-solving skills, a good understanding of framework design and development, and an attention to detail that ensures high-quality outcomes. Expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential, and experience with frameworks like Bootstrap or React is a bonus. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who have a keen interest in user interface and experience work, are team players, and can adapt well to changing work requirements. Good interpersonal and communication skills are also crucial for success in this role.
