About the position

The Principal Software Developer will play a key role in developing a high-volume AI computer application aimed at revolutionizing parking solutions. This position involves working within a small team to enhance and maintain the software used in parking structures across the United States. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, particularly in Java and cloud technologies, and will contribute to the company's innovative vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-volume AI computer applications for parking solutions.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to design and implement microservices architecture.
• Utilize Java 17, Spring Boot, and AWS services to build scalable applications.
• Integrate REST APIs and manage data using SQL.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in software development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices architecture and AWS services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
