Applicants are permitted to work remotely from an at-home worksite anywhere in the United States. The position involves writing COBOL/Native stored procedures, analyzing and retrieving data using technologies such as DB2 and VSAM, and performing detailed analysis for maintenance and enhancement projects in both batch and online environments. The role also includes building Cloud platform capabilities and software applications, deploying and supporting software releases into production environments, and using business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications. Additionally, the position requires conducting studies of alternatives, analyzing and recommending changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.
