About the position

The Principal Software Engineer position at Strategic Advisors Technology (SAT) focuses on leveraging expertise in Oracle SQL and PLSQL to build enterprise cloud-enabled distributed systems. Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate and participate in design reviews and code reviews.
• Engage in product quality plan efforts, including test case development and automation of tests.
• Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Translate storyboards and use cases into applications that enhance Fidelity's strategic edge.

Requirements

• Expertise in writing Oracle SQL and PLSQL code.
• Experience in data analysis, data modeling, and designing data APIs.
• Proficiency in maintaining batch jobs using ETL/Informatica and Autosys.
• Understanding of design principles for scalable applications.
• Experience with acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) and automated testing for database code.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Snowflake and S3 is a bonus.
• Knowledge of mid-tier technologies like Java and messaging technologies.
• Experience with client-side technologies: HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Comfortable in an Agile software delivery environment with CI/CD tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud technologies like Snowflake and S3.
