About the position

As a Software Scrum Master at Raytheon, you will play a pivotal role in leading agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that support critical defense programs. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leadership, Product Owner, and other Scrum Masters to align development priorities, resolve cross-team issues, and facilitate effective communication across disciplines. You will lead sprint and increment planning sessions, ensuring that all team members are aligned and focused on delivering value to our customers. In addition to your scrum master duties, you will also engage in hands-on software development, dedicating at least 50% of your time to coding and designing software solutions. This dual role allows you to leverage your technical skills while fostering an agile environment that encourages collaboration and innovation. You will learn about multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design, as well as modern DevSecOps practices and software lifecycle methodologies tailored for large-scale defense projects.
