About the position

The Principal Solution Architect - Digital at Capgemini plays a crucial role in driving digital transformation and enhancing customer experience for clients in North America. This position requires a blend of technology expertise, solution architecture, and consulting skills, focusing on front-end web technologies and client engagement. The role involves leading solutioning for technology programs, mentoring teams, and establishing strong client relationships while working closely with sales teams to identify opportunities in digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and take point on all solutioning for technology programs for a client
• Engage and connect with C-Suite executives at the client side
• Work with sales teams to identify and pursue opportunities in web/digital transformation
• Establish strong technology architecture and solutioning expertise with clients
• Partner with sales/account teams to drive mind share with clients and evangelize solutions
• Serve as the go-to person for platform strategy and solutioning
• Mentor, guide, and manage a team of architects and presales consultants
• Establish thought leadership with clients on web modernization and digital transformation
• Construct estimation models and financial models for proposals
• Collaborate with other geographies to share assets and best practices
• Incubate and oversee building solutions and go-to-market offers
• Assist in assuring client satisfaction and maintaining strong client relationships
• Engage with and present to both executives and engineering teams in client organizations

Requirements

• 15+ years of overall IT industry experience, preferably with large IT Consulting and Services firms
• 10+ years of experience working with web technologies (Angular JS, Angular, React, VuJS, etc.)
• 5+ years managing large geographically spread teams
• 5+ years architecting solutions for enterprise web transformation
• 5+ years in selling and negotiating consulting services
• 5+ years of experience in senior technical leadership roles
• Subject Matter Expert in web transformation/modernization for financial services
• Good understanding of web functional solutions in Financial Services
• Familiar with Fit Gap Analysis and estimation process for web applications
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred background in financial services
• Hands-on experience in web technologies (Angular/React/javascript)
• Experience with integration technologies (Java, Spring, etc.)
• Knowledge of data architecture (cloud-based AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
• Understanding of automation environments (DevOps, CICD)
• Experience with integration technologies like Apigee, Mulesoft, API/Microservices
