About the position

As a Principal Solution Architect at Capgemini, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation and enhancing customer experience for leading organizations. This position requires a blend of technology expertise, solution architecture, and consulting skills, focusing on front-end web technologies and client engagement. You will lead technology programs, mentor teams, and establish strong client relationships while contributing to Capgemini's growth in the digital space.

Responsibilities

• Lead and take point on all solutioning for technology programs for a client.
• Engage and connect with C-Suite executives at the client side.
• Work with sales teams to identify and pursue opportunities in web/digital transformation.
• Establish strong technology architecture and solutioning expertise with clients.
• Partner with sales/account teams to drive mind share with clients and evangelize solutions.
• Serve as the go-to person for platform strategy and solutioning.
• Mentor, guide, and manage a team of architects and presales consultants.
• Establish credentials and thought leadership with clients on web modernization and digital transformation.
• Construct estimation models and financial models for proposals/RFPs/RFIs.
• Collaborate with other geographies to share assets and best practices for North America clients.
• Incubate and oversee building solutions and go-to-market offers.
• Assist in assuring client satisfaction and maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

• 15+ years of overall IT industry experience, preferably with large IT Consulting and Services firms.
• 10+ years of experience working with web technologies (Angular JS, Angular, React, VuJS, etc.).
• 5+ years managing large geographically spread teams.
• 5+ years architecting solutions for enterprise web transformation.
• 5+ years in selling and negotiating consulting services.
• 5+ years of experience in senior technical leadership roles.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in web transformation/modernization for financial services.
• Good understanding of web functional solutions in Financial Services.
• Familiar with the Fit Gap Analysis and estimation process for web applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred background in financial services.
• Preferred understanding of integration technologies like Apigee, Mulesoft, API/Microservices, etc.
• Hands-on experience extending business applications using web technologies.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, applications, enterprise architecture, and governance models.
• Good understanding of global delivery models and experience working with multiple offshore locations.
