About the position

The Principal Solutions Architect will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team of a large data center organization by providing cloud expertise and deep networking and infrastructure design knowledge. This position requires a blend of technical acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. The role involves on-site work in Dallas, TX, 2-3 days per week, and includes responsibilities such as mentoring the sales team and improving sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical advisor for customers and the sales team to architect creative and complex IT/cloud and networking service delivery solutions
• Articulate solution benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the sales team and other internal and external thought leaders
• Improve probability of close, increase deal size and help to expand globally

Requirements

• Experience working in Pre-sales as a Solutions Architect is required
• Ability, confidence and experience working with leadership, speak at conferences and write articles/blogs/vlogs
• Experience with OEM/Hardware - any physical infrastructure (CPU, Storage, Security Components, etc.)
• Technical and commercial knowledge of MPLS and IPVPN topologies and architecture is required
• Experience with Routing and Switching protocols
• Experience with public, private and hybrid cloud services and deployment
