This is an opportunity to join the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Mission Area supporting Global Patriot as a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Principal Analyst. In this exciting role, you will work closely with the FP&A Manager through the forecasting cycle (prelim and month-end) while also having direct involvement with frequent deliverable requests from management. This is an exciting opportunity to join a complex & high-profile program area. This role will allow for high visibility during various monthly & quarterly reviews to LADS key team members as well as Regional Program Area & Functional Leadership Teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy & completeness of key financial metrics. Support the organization through various weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual routines including the following: Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), Investment Planning, Risk & Opportunity Reviews, Monthly Operation Reviews, Monthly Forecast Reviews, and Balance Sheet Reviews. You will analyze large amounts of data from various sources and different contract types and dollar values, and support frequent ad-hoc requests. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of key financial metrics.
  • Support the organization through various weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual routines including AOP, LRP, Investment Planning, Risk & Opportunity Reviews, Monthly Operation Reviews, Monthly Forecast Reviews, and Balance Sheet Reviews.
  • Analyze large amounts of data from various sources and different contract types and dollar values.
  • Support frequent ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience with APEX, RPlan, or a similar toolset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience briefing financials to various levels of organization.
  • Program Controls/Financial Analyst experience.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines while multitasking and managing workload requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with various functions and levels of organization.

  • Experience with Power BI tools.
