About the position

The Principal/Sr. Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst at Northrop Grumman is responsible for establishing and managing cost control systems, monitoring contract costs and schedules, and ensuring compliance with government guidelines. This role involves preparing budgets, conducting financial analyses, and performing schedule risk assessments to mitigate potential risks. The position supports the SDS Division in Roy, UT, and offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles and variance analysis.
  • Prepares program plans to capture and schedule program requirements and statement of work.
  • Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
  • Maintains accurate records of expenditures and directs preparation of expenditure projections.
  • Submits timely requests for additional funding to the government.
  • Incorporates contractual changes into control systems to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of related experience; 4 years with a Master's degree; or 10 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of cost and schedule control experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Government Property Regulations.
  • US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
