About the position

The Principal System HW Design Engineer will be responsible for sustaining existing PSB/Systems designs and assisting with new PCB/Systems design and debug efforts. This role involves working closely with local PCB fabrication, assembly, and rework companies to build and rework boards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly accountable, and possess a curious and creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills. The position requires a self-driven individual who is execution and results-oriented, with good presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sustain Existing PSB/Systems Designs
• Assist with new PCB/Systems design efforts
• Assist with new PCB/Systems debug efforts
• Work with local PCB Fab/Assembly/Rework companies to build, rework boards
• Detail-oriented and highly accountable
• Curious, creative, and good at solving problems

• Good presentation and communication skills

Requirements

• Ability to assist with the PCB initial design, bringup and testing
• Ability to Review PCB schematics and Layout (Orcad/Allegro, Altium etc.)
• Ability to correlate simulations vs measurements

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of SI/PI to assist in Post Layout Analysis (Tools like HSpice, ADS, Ansys etc.)
• Linux scripting (Bash, Python etc.)
• Some PCB DFT/DFM knowledge
