Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance caching and high availability technologies for Oracle databases.
• Work on distributed memory cache for large Oracle databases on massively-parallel clusters.
• Implement database recovery capabilities like Flashback for rapid data restoration.
• Contribute to the development of Oracle True Cache for improved application response times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud and AI application integration.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong systems programming skills.
• 5 years of experience in the software industry.
• Experience leading or working on software projects in databases, distributed systems, operating systems, or storage software systems.
• Effective communication skills and strong problem resolution skills.
• Knowledge of database internals is a plus.
