About the position

The Principal System Software Developer - Core Database at Oracle is responsible for enhancing the Oracle database to support cloud and new web and AI applications. Responsibilities

• Enhance Oracle database to support cloud and new web and AI applications.
• Work on Caching and High Availability technologies for the database.
• Develop high-performance caching solutions for converged database.
• Contribute to the development of database recovery capabilities and features like Flashback and Oracle True Cache.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong systems programming skills.
• 5+ years of experience in the software industry.
• Effective communication skills and strong problem resolution skills.
• Experience leading or working on software projects in databases, distributed systems, operating systems, or storage software systems.
