About the position

The Principal Systems Analyst at APEX TK will provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for the C2BMC Test Facility (CTF). This role involves working on missile defense-related projects, ensuring effective integration and interface design efforts, and supporting operations worldwide. The analyst will also be responsible for developing briefings, leading teams, and collaborating with various stakeholders to prioritize activities and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C2BMC, MDS Elements, and external capability integration and interface design efforts.
• Develop, integrate, engineer, test, train, and ensure cyber security for the C2BMC Test Bed and associated infrastructure at the MDIOC.
• Support C2BMC operations worldwide as required.
• Assist the CTF Chair for requirements, design, and verification reviews and audits.
• Support program and budgetary preparations and reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize CTF simultaneous activities.
• Develop briefings and present to leadership.
• Work independently and/or lead teams to analyze and resolve problems.

Requirements

• MA/MS degree and 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project OR a BA/BS degree and 20+ years of experience in lieu of the MA/MS degree requirement.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with Agile Software Development processes and product development timelines.
• Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes.
• Experience with network, system administration, and cyber infrastructure.
• Exceptional written and verbal skills required for developing and presenting reports to senior management.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment.
• Prefer candidates with Network, System Administration, or Cyber Security certifications.
• Military experience is a plus.
