About the position

Northrop Grumman is seeking Systems Engineers to support the Frost program at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs. This role involves performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, and requirements allocation to translate customer needs into hardware and software specifications. The position focuses on the Operations & Sustainment of interconnected networks, requiring knowledge of Systems Engineering processes, Agile development, and DevOps. Candidates must have a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance with an adjudicated Polygraph and a STEM degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of government policy and make recommendations on project tailoring.
• Participate in and document project activities.
• Perform technical and non-technical assessments of requirements.
• Work with functional area personnel to develop designs to remediate requirements.
• Focus on the Operations & Sustainment of interconnected networks.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance with an adjudicated Polygraph.
• Completed STEM degree with 5 years of relevant experience (Bachelor's) or 3 years of relevant experience (Master's).
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes.
• Experience with Agile development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Server System Administration and troubleshooting on Linux, Windows servers/clients, and Oracle/SQL Databases.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present to project and program management.
• Experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders for requirements development.
• Solid technical foundation in Systems Engineering processes.
• Experience with Systems Integration and System/Software Testing.
