About the position

The Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer will support the design, development, and deployment of software products with advanced RF capabilities at Raytheon. This role involves troubleshooting system/software issues, developing test infrastructure, and leading integration and test activities for complex systems. The position requires collaboration with multi-disciplined technical teams and the ability to drive technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Work with system and software leads to troubleshoot and solve system/software related problems.
• Participate in the full systems engineering process from planning to integration and test.
• Develop test plans involving multiple subsystem and system interactions.
• Lead the integration and test pipeline development, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of engineering experience OR an advanced degree with six (6) years of engineering experience.
• Experience with requirements analysis or software integration, developing associated documentation for integration and verification.
• Experience working in Linux OS with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, and MATLAB.
• Experience with Signal Processing (AMTI), Tracking, Communications, or Resource Management concepts.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice-to-haves

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years.
• Experience leading and training technical teams of junior to mid-level engineers.
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile and Dev-ops processes.
• Experience with containers and associated tools.
