About the position
The Principal Systems Engineer III (Network) at Edgewater Federal Solutions is responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, and resolution of interoperability issues for various network components and application dependencies. This role requires a strong background in network engineering and a Top Secret clearance, as the position is onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy network systems and components.
- Test and certify network features and applications.
- Patch and maintain network systems for optimal performance.
- Address interoperability issues across network components.
- Work with switches, firewalls, load balancers, and software-defined networking.
- Support private cloud requirements and related technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 6+ years of directly related industry experience.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI-CI poly eligibility.
- U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain clearance.
- Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or DevNet Associate certification.
- Experience with Application-Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Tetration, Multi-Site-Orchestrator (MSO), Network Assurance Engine (NAE), Network Services Orchestrator (NSO), Nexus Insights, and Digital Network Architecture Center (DNAC).
