The Principal Systems Security Engineer - Anti-Tamper / Cyber Security role at Raytheon is a critical position focused on developing Systems Security Engineering (SSE) solutions to secure the technology advantage of the US warfighter. This role requires a deep understanding of systems engineering principles and the ability to create holistic security solutions that leverage Anti-Tamper (AT), Cyber Security, Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing these solutions into Raytheon's products, ensuring that they meet the stringent requirements of the Department of Defense (DoD) and other stakeholders. In this position, you will interact with customers to define SSE AT requirements and solutions, assess costs, and evaluate the effectiveness of implementations. You will also support the development of plans and estimates, track project execution, and identify and mitigate risks. Your role will involve planning and guiding SSE AT implementations in customer systems, consulting with program line management on SSE AT architectures, and conducting threat modeling and Critical Program Information Assessments. The ideal candidate will have a security-conscious approach, considering the systems-level effects of complex programs and effectively communicating the benefits of proposed solutions to leadership. You will be involved in generating security requirements, design artifacts, and compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies. Additionally, you will validate secure configurations of various assets using DoD-approved scanning and assessment tools. This position is based in Tucson, Arizona, and requires a commitment to ensuring the security and integrity of critical systems.
