The Principal Systems Security Engineer - Anti-Tamper / Cyber Security role at Raytheon is a critical position focused on developing Systems Security Engineering (SSE) solutions to secure the technology advantage of the US warfighter. This role involves creating holistic security solutions that leverage Anti-Tamper (AT), Cyber Security, Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management to support Program Protection Implementation on embedded weapons systems. The successful candidate will engage in top-level requirements development, requirements analysis and allocation, design, verification, integration, and production/field support, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into the systems engineering process. In this position, you will implement SSE AT and Cyber Security solutions into RTX products, interact with customers to define SSE AT requirements, and support the development of plans and estimates for project execution. You will also be responsible for validating secure configurations of various assets using DoD approved scanning and assessment tools. The role requires a security-conscious approach to resolving complex programs and the ability to communicate effectively with leadership to advocate for the best solutions for mission success. The work environment is dynamic and agile, requiring collaboration with program and customer teams to provide strategic input and planning for system architecture and design.
