About the position
The Principal Talent Management Consultant plays a crucial role in providing expert-level consultation to senior leaders and operational staff within Providence. This position acts as a solutions architect, driving strategic solutions that align with the organization's goals and addressing talent management challenges. The consultant collaborates with various stakeholders to design and implement effective talent strategies, ensuring alignment with the overall vision of Human Resources and the strategic goals of Providence St Joseph Health.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert level strategic consulting capability across initiative life cycle.
- Conduct assessments of organizational talent needs.
- Create or contribute to talent strategy for a region or function.
- Advise on, design, and implement solutions based on talent strategy.
- Analyze data to determine the effectiveness of solutions.
- Address talent needs by identifying gaps and proposing interventions.
- Facilitate talent review processes to identify high potential talent.
- Lead organizational design workshops to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with operational staff to build evaluation strategies for program effectiveness.
- Support project delivery in talent management and leadership development.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in talent management and learning & development methodologies.
- 5 years of expertise in talent development methods and solutions implementation.
- 5 years of experience in performance management, organizational design, and strategic workforce development.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Organization Development, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
- Certification in Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) or Human Capital Strategist (HCS).
