About the position

The primary purpose of this role is to lead the development and communication of target-state architectures, roadmaps, and solutions for technologies at the product portfolio level. The individual will support several technologies spanning multiple product portfolios and complex architecture domains, including business, application, data, and infrastructure. This role involves building high-quality architecture solutions and providing expertise on architecture standards that align with business needs. The successful candidate will have deep solution architecture experience, a strategic thought process, and strong business acumen, influencing senior leadership while working with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and communication of target-state architectures and roadmaps.
• Build high-quality architecture solutions for assigned areas.
• Provide expertise and guidance on architecture standards.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies within the organization.
• Support multiple technologies across various product portfolios.
• Coach and direct junior architects on the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12 years of experience in technology disciplines.
• Experience with architecting highly scalable and highly available systems.
• Familiarity with mobile and emerging technology trends.
• Ability to synthesize conclusions from research and compare various solutions.
• Broad experience across business, application, information, infrastructure, and security architecture domains.
• Technical experience in consumer/employee facing enterprise systems.
• Expertise in technical architecture, application systems design, and integration in a large enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with MicroServices, Java/J2EE, XML, and application servers like Websphere/Weblogic/Apache TomCat.
• Deep understanding of AWS and Azure cloud computing environments and services.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills, with the ability to articulate technical topics to diverse audiences.
