About the position

The Principal Technical Consultant at AT&T plays a crucial role in providing technical sales support to ensure successful customer integration and implementation of complex company products. This position involves collaborating with the sales team to address technical issues, deliver product demonstrations, and provide expert consultation to meet customer needs. The consultant is expected to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and mentor others while contributing to the sales strategy and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex technical issues during joint sales calls with the sales team.
• Provide technical expertise in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and installation of company products.
• Analyze practices, procedures, and data to determine answers to technical issues.
• Develop and deliver complex systems/applications solutions to meet customer needs.
• Create recommendations and implement new methods for complex solutions.
• Lead the development of bid and pricing strategies in conjunction with pricing and product management.
• Negotiate Statements of Work (SOW), Service Level Agreements (SLA), and pricing documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in engineering or sales.
